I climbed to a unique looking but unnamed knob above Dark Meadow in the Gifford Pinchot forest. Elk trails up the side of the hill made the climbing very easy.

This is the Indian Watchtower at Desert View, build in 1932 and designed as a visitor attraction. The panorama is taken right next to the watchtower and unveils the spectacular view into the canyon.
