Built in 1865, this fountain was erected in Heroes Square to commemorate the introduction of piped water into the city.

Originally a swing bridge, it was rebult in 2006 as a lift bridge using reinforced plastic. Until then, this bridge accommodated vehicular traffic but is now used only by pedistrians.
