Bocchetta di Terza itself is quite stony, but nearby is this lovely meadow on the ridge. It's a nice spot to have a break after the ascent and to enjoy the view in both directions.

Passo di Basagrana can be reached from Trontano. It's over 2000 m high, so one of the higher access routes to the central Val Grande area. It passes near Monte Trontano.
