Spring in Hyde Park, Perth. The trees that you see here are called Jacaranda. In a full bloom, trees produce only flowers - leaves follow up later on - spectacular, isn't?

This is just to the side of the main altar. All the messages on the walls were somewhat haunting and I was curious to why some things were covered with purple cloth.

This is a very surreal room in the church. The eerie book back lit and chained to the wall. The red altar and all the kneeling benches it was very cool to stand in the room and look at all the ancient stuff on the walls.

This ancient tree caught my eye. The tree has obviously been cut back alot which makes the intricate growths. Im sure there could be a human face hidden in them somewhere.

This is the grungey dirty Burswood Dome. I pass by the dome on my way to work and on this particular day I thaught the lighting was particularly dramatic. To be honest I'm not even sure if these stairs are used anymore.

I recently went to the zoo and when I walked by this area with bamboo that had initials and messages etched into the bamboo. It was very cool and some of the messages date back to the 80s.
