Built in 1896-97, Strawberry Mansion Bridge connects the mansion districts of Fairmount Park, on the East and West banks of the Schuylkill River.  I think it is the most elegant of our Schuylkill bridges.

The elevated railroad is a dominant feature of the Manayunk section of Philadelphia.  This view shows one of the less gloomy sections of Cresson Street, one short block from the commercial center on Main Street.
