The Kranae islet is a very distinctive feature of Gythio and to its end one may find the Gythio Lighthouse. The lighthouse was manufactured in 1873 in a octagonal shape and is 23 meters high.

This place is almost magical. The sunset here is one of the most famous of the Lefkada island. You have to go down some steps though for enjoying the sea...and whoever goes down has to go back up again :)
