First snowfall of the winter. The gardens of Rideau Hall. The house within the grounds has been the official residence of the Governor General, since 1867. It was built by lumber baron Thomas MacKay.

Osmosis, by the Saskatchewan artist Susan Stomberg. The statue was installed in the Rideau Hall gardens in 1993. It stands 10 feet tall and is made from brass and steel.
