The recreation yard on Alcatraz. The prisoners on Alcatraz were allowed to use this yard on saturdays and sundays only. Prisoners would spend their time here playing bridge, various sports, etc.

The prisoners library on Alcatraz. When in use, this library carried approximately 15000 books. The prisoners were not allowed in the library, instead, they had books delivered directly to their cells.
