The Aquatics Center in Chapel Hill has been an ambitious project and is now open. This view shows it during construction and is a great reminder of how the now finished article looked only only months before opening.

The Community Pool is now the smaller of Chapel Hill's two indoor swimming pools, having been overtaken by the new Aquatics Centre. This remains a very good pool however and is easily accessed using Chapel Hill Transit.

The batting cages are one of the many superb facilities provided by the Town of Chapel Hill. Enjoy this panorama - it cost me a buck to get this guy a bunch of new balls...
