On the way to Miradoro de las Cuernos, even two years after the big fire one can still see its traces in the Torres del Paine national park, but nature is coming back.Stop burning toilet paper! ;)

The fire that destroyed a large part of the forest in Torres del Paine National Park in Jan 2012 brought on an early autumn landscape there. These trees were mostly singed and might survive.

The larger Lago Dickson is fed by the impressive Glacier Dickson which flows down from Cerro Cubo. Refugio Dickson lies on that stretch of grassland below.
