Looking South from the south side of the Olympic Street Bridge as it passes over the Los Angeles River. Downtown LA skyscrapers can be seen 90 degrees west of the sun, on the other side of the bridge to the northwest.

Recent storm has charged the LA River with a decent flow, enough to produce whitewater rapids in a section where there is usually only a trickle of water. Next storm moving in from west and beginning to cover the sun.
