Der Weg von Einödsbach zum Waltenberger Haus führt durch das einzigartige Bacherloch. Ein wildes, enges Tal mit üppiger Vegetation, in dem sich auch im Sommer noch so manches Schneefeld hält.

The Schwarzmilzferner, a true glacier, very rare in this parts of the Alps and the last remaining in the Allgäuer Alpen. Possibly it will take less then 20 years until it's completely gone.

Cosy mountain loge in the Allgäuer Alps near Oberstdorf. Since there is neither road nor lift they have to carry all supplies by helicopter which is done once a year at the beginning of the season. More information.
