It was work getting up and down the Palihale State Park beach. It was 84 degrees and you could see the myst blowing in from the ocean as you looked down the beach. Hot and humid, so hot the sand burned my feet.

The Kilauea National Wildlife Refuge is a beautiful spot to view the rugged coastline of the north shore on Kauai. From this view you can see much of the coast to the west of the refuge.

The Kualoa Regional Park is located about midway on the East facing side of the island. It is directly across the road from the Kualoa Ranch. Lots of open space for soccer, Frisbee, etc.
