This award-winning and unusual City Hall was completed in 1970. The unique shape conserves energy by allowing less light into the building. This upside down pyramid is a good example of modern 1970s architecture.

Located a fair distance from the center of Tikal, Temple 6 is fantastic off by itself. We saw four monkeys hanging out in the trees across on the other side of the pyramid. Super cool.
