中正纪念堂位在台北市中，分别以杭州南路、中山南路、爱国东路、信义路的周界，占地为24.79顷，为纪念蒋介石于1976年（民国六十五年）筹建，全区包括中正纪念堂、中正纪念公园、牌楼、围捕、瞻仰大道、两侧为剧院及音乐厅，全是中国宫殿式之建筑富丽堂皇之美，更显示浓烈的艺文气息。在剧院及音乐厅还经常举办艺术表演节目，常邀请到国内外名之刻团、音乐家、舞蹈家、晚会等演出；是处可以丰富心灵，提升台湾地区文化艺术水准极佳去处。
