I'm photographing since 1997. In the beginning I only worked with black and white material which I developed in my own darkroom. Currently I'm working in colour and black and white with a fully digital workflow. The results of this workflow are printed on Hahnemühle papers with pigmented inks.

Back in 2004 I started to take panoramic pictures. Initially the results were only parts of spherical images. Since 2006 I take full spherical images like the ones on this site. In 2008 I started to work on reprojections of this artwork to be able to print spheric panoramic images on flat surfaces.

I had my first contact with photography in the mid-seventies, when I was thirteen years old. At that time my step-uncle, who worked as a freelance photo-journalist for a local newspaper, taught me a little about taking photographs and processing negatives and photoprints in the darkroom. I was pretty fascinated, but was unfortunately talked out of the photographer's profession as an "unprofitable art". After some decades, I now feel more and more excited about photography again, especially panorama photography.

Working in the media industry since 1982, I am now the owner of a small agency, located not far from Würzburg in Northern Bavaria. I would be very pleased to be contacted via my website
