The Casino is Avalon's iconic building. Gambling never took place here, but in the Big band era the Casino's spectacular ballroom was part of each band's itinerary.

The movie theater has been kept in prime condition and each weekend one can still hear organ recitals on the theater's original instrument from the silent movie era.
