The old pier in Colwyn Bay has seen better days. It is all boarded up and looks pretty dire. Then again it is on a beautiful stretch of beach which goes all the way from Penrhyn Bay via Ros-on-sea to Colwyn Bay - about 5km of beach and promnade. And given the right angle and the right weather the pier doesn't look too daunting.
