With about 100 species of trees and flowers, coming from more than 15 regions of the world (Mexico, Japan, Argentina, India, Ecuador, China, Australia, Madagascar, among others) and French grass, gardens retain today the landscape lines both in relation to sites like the arrangement of species vegetais.O green belt surrounding the Palais has since exotic trees, such as Madagascar banana trees and frankincense trees, the flowers as camellias, jasmine, Manacás and flowers of the emperor. As a complement, granite pedestals where busts of mythological figures were placed, also won three fountains and four sources. Among them, the frog fountain, from which the residents withdrew water at the time of the empire, because they believed it was best quality.The first presented project was Glaziou, this official landscape of the emperor, who designed the gardens of Quinta da Boa Boavista and several other parks, but was refused. The gardens were designed by Binot, also French. Still can be seen the original layout of the gardens, from pandalos Africa, Australia palm trees, incense trees, among others. The gardens were changing and diminiundo over time, but can still be seen and appreciated.
