Plum trees are in full blossom
Tama

A lot of Japanese plum trees are in full bloom in Kogesawa, which is located at the north of the famous Takao mountain. Several hundreds of plum trees are planted on the hill. Japanese plum trees, which are in bloom in Feb. or March, is known as flowers come out ealy in the spring.  Different from cherry blossom, we can enjoy a faint and sweet smell of the flowers.  We can walk around the hill only on several days in the flower season. The Chuo Highway is running just near the hill.
