The Citadel Wesel is the largest remaining fortress of the Rhineland and was built in Wesel, 1688-1722, designed by Johan de Corbin in the form of a five-pointed star, while representing each "wave" a bastion. The Citadel was the core of the fortress of Wesel. The architectural features of the Citadel dates back to the principles of Sébastien Le Prestre de Vauban, the largest fortress in its time farmer. The entire fortress of Wesel was fitted during this period with 250 guns.
Today, the Citadel complex, the Municipal Museum, housed department Schill casemates, the city archive of conservation workshop, music and art of the town of Wesel and the Prussia Museum of North Rhine-Westphalia.

Between the time of the Nordic old ones and that of modern Frankfort there may have been a T.Rex or two on the scene. At least some mastodons for sure came through for lunch, then fell into tar pits to become fossils for us to find.
