Estavill is a very small town in the Dark Valley (Vall Fosca in Catalan), belonging to the municipality of Torre de Cabdella, province of Lleida, in 2022 it had 9 registered inhabitants. It is the town that best preserves the medieval structure, built around a main street that was closed at night for safety. The main architectural singularity is the set of covered streets, where the free surfaces above the streets are used to expand the houses or build access corridors to the stables and haystacks, thus protected from inclement weather.
