In the Belvedere of the Longosardo tower is located the monument called the Madonnina del Belvedere. The tower, which dominates the Rena Bianca beach, is located at forty-two meters above sea level. Probably erected in 1577 or 1590 under the reign of Philip II, it is a large crenellated tower, one of the largest erected by the Spaniards in Sardinia, with a structure, which has a truncated cone shape from the base up to mid-height, while in the upper part it is cylindrical.
