Several beautiful palaces and buildings can be found around the Burg but the most famous one is the Town Hall, the oldest gothic building of Belgium. From Rozenhoedkaai an exceptionally beautiful view is seen of the old houses bordering the canal, with the Belfry rising high above the rooftops in the background.
