There's nothing wrong with the fact that most czech pubs offer a menu that is fairly similar. The problem is that many pubs don't have a loving chef, and the dishes come out of the kitchen without any imagination or flair. U Novaka offers Svickova (sirloin with cream sauce) like nearly every other pub in this country, but it tastes more like a meal at babicka's (grandma's) house, and less like another pub.
