Monument to King Pelayo The Marquis Square in Cimadevilla is probably THE square in Gijón. The Revillagigedo palace built at the beginnig of the XVIIIth C. is now a Contemporary Art Centre. Another relevant feature in this square is the monument to King Pelayo, who started the Reconquest of the Iberian Peninsula in Covadonga.
