龍鳳谷地處紗帽山泉源路東南側、惇敘中學東邊和東南邊、行義路東側，有南磺溪流經，是天母磺溪的上游。谷地有許多噴氣孔、硫氣孔、天然溫泉和人工溫泉，設有多處溫泉浴室，更是行義路上眾多溫泉餐廳的溫泉來源。此處於2007年新設有一座龍鳳谷公園，內有無障礙步道、生態池、涼亭。

颱風或豪雨期間因南磺溪之溪水常暴漲，此區易淹水發生危險，因此設有告示牌禁止遊客與車輛進入。
