This trail in the woods, shown in the 360 Photo, is part of the medieval "Via Mercatorum", Road of Merchants, that crossed the mountains in Northern Italy. This path reaches and passes thru Cornello dei Tasso, one very small village with only medieval buildings. This unique village, beautiful and well preserved, is famous because of the Tasso family that invented in 13th century the modern postal service.
