在深秋入冬期間，大屯山芒花盛開，宛如波浪般隨風起舞，小油坑煙霧裊裊升起，揚起竹子湖一片煙雨濛濛。

夜晚的竹子湖更是迷人，寧靜中夾雜著蟲鳴蛙叫聲，宛如交響樂團演奏天籟之音；坐在花田中，啜飲一口香草花茶，別有一番風味。或來此一窺大臺北市的夜景，迷人且浪漫。
