紅灰色的石牆佈滿綠藤，屋角門邊陳列一排古甕，透露著時代的粗獷滄桑感，這是菸樓陶藝館給人的第一印象。屋主鍾建志賦予廢棄菸樓新生命，重新整修後，於1998年改建為陶藝館，用來製作與放置其陶藝作品，也開放給遊客來此燒窯、喝擂茶，是一處可以深入體驗美濃文化特色的好去處。
