단테스 뷰는 데스밸리 전체를 조망할 수 있는, 부근에서는 제일 높은 지역에 속한다.

사진에 보이는 물처럼 보이는 것이 배드워터(Bad Water) 즉, 소금덩어리 들이다.

데스밸리는 말그대로 죽음의 계곡. 라스베이거스에서 북쪽으로 2.5시간 정도 걸린다. 여름에는 가능하면 가지 않는 게 좋다. 한낮에는 대부분 40도 이상 올라간다.
