福隆海水浴場向來為知名的景點，早在日據時代，福隆就是一個著名的海水浴場，雙溪河在此入海，形成內河、外海的雙重景觀，彎月型拱橋連結兩處，內河河面寬廣、水流平穩，適合從事風帆、獨木舟、拖曳傘等活動，外海的海水浴場寬約60公尺，長約3000公尺，可從事游泳、戲水、灘地活動衝浪、帆船、獨木舟、風浪板、趴板衝浪等水域活動。
