取名「覺照」之意，在於「覺性的觀照」，覺了明達，心光燦照。曉雲導師云：「夜深人靜，獨坐觀心，始覺妄窮而真獨露，每於此中得大機趣，既覺真現，而妄難逃，又於此中得大慚忸。倓虛大師紀念館、國際會議廳及教學創意中心在此樓中。
