開成殿是民眾口中稱呼的「天公廟」，是一座供奉玉皇大帝的三層樓宏偉建築，地址在烏勢巷，但主要出入口是102縣道接近福山宮的位置，可看到路標指示進入本殿的大廳。大殿正前方屋頂的「靈霄寶殿」非常宏偉，九份很多地區遠遠都能一眼看到。屋頂上的飛簷、剪黏與交趾陶雕刻非常精細複雜，具有閩南廟宇的一貫特色。
