情人湖位於本市西郊大武崙山山腰上原名【五義埤】，為基隆僅有的高地湖泊，入口處有民國三十一年出廠的ＣＫ２７１蒸汽火車頭，以煤炭蒸氣發動車，見證當年蒸氣火車的發展輝煌與沒落，為基隆留下歷史遺跡，此火車是民國八十三年，從台灣省鐵路管理局嘉義分班移運到基隆。
