內洞國家森林遊樂區內有內洞溪和南勢溪蜿蜒流貫，園區步道緩坡上升，綠色森林一路相隨，並可聞流瀑水聲，充滿自然野趣。

南勢溪在此較為寬廣，溪谷多峭壁地形，水流清澈，上游水勢湍急，下游有台電羅好水壩，形成一泓碧綠的青潭。
