Le jardin de l'Etat abrite le Museum de l'histoire naturel ouvert en 1865.

I garden of the State is one of the only botanical gardens of The Reunion Island.  It was conceived at the end of the 18 ème century.  It is a matter of a garden of acclimation having for vocation to introduce new useful vegetable spaces to the colony.  The garden of the State shelters the Museum of the natural history open in 1865.
