彌陀濱海遊樂區設有自行車道、防風林遊憩區等設施，為高雄第一處沿海休閒遊憩區，南北串連梓官、永安兩區海岸線綿延長達數十公里，沙灘和石礫襯托著湛藍海水，南部熱情的陽光於海面上投射出一片耀眼光輝，瑰麗壯闊，無限延伸，夕照更是金黃一片，即為高雄的「黃金海岸」，景色斐然。
