The Sonny Evans Small Craft Harbour is the beating heart of Shelly Beach. This is the main boat launching site along this stretch of coastline, and serves as the departure point for most diving, whale watching and fishing charters. This launch site also plays host to the popular annual Ski Boat Festival.
