深澳漁港位於寧靜而樸素的深澳里北面，港址建於深澳灣左側山岬邊，該岬酷似紅蕃酋長，故漁村聚落稱為「蕃子澳」。港籍漁業為165艘漁船，以營運棒受網，延繩釣、休閒漁業為主，而休閒娛樂漁業數量亦多從事海釣等海上休閒活動。
