規劃環堤步道，遠眺九份、金瓜石。日、夜均有不同風情，讓遊客流連忘返。港區周邊有許多礁岩海岸，處處皆為良好的磯釣點，加上漁港腹地廣闊，機釣船釣都很方便，成為國內海釣船最多的漁港。
