Glen Pass located in Kings Canyon National Park and on the John Muir-Pacific Crest Trail is 10,544 feet (3,214 m) in elevation. From a heavy snow winter, Glen Pass can be a challenge, with high angle icy snow fields turning back many hikers but for the more experience using crampons and ice axe for safety.
