Medyn. Abandoned Cathedral. Interior. (2010)
Kaluga Oblast

Кирпичный собор, построенный в 1777 как главный храм вновь учрежденного города, на месте деревянного Благовещенского храма бывшей Медынской пустыни. Здание в стиле раннего классицизма состоит из основного двусветного объема, имеющего сложный лепестковый план и завершавшегося восьмигранным куполом, и трапезной. Приделы в трапезной Никольский и Успенский. Закрыт не позже 1930-х, разрушены купол и колокольня. Использовался административными учреждениями. В настоящее время пустует, в тяжелом состоянии.
