Zumstein 3 months after the Northern Grampians Complex Fire
Grampians National Park

Complex Fire. The Grampians are a large National Park in the Wimmera region of Victoria, Australia.

On 15 January 2014 seven fires were ignited by lightning across the Grampians NP. 3 of these fires combined and swept through the northern part of the Grampians NP and private property. The fire caused significant damage to the Zumstein picnic area which was only reopened late in 2013 after it was badly damaged by severe flooding in summer 2011.
