Tainan - Chikan House -6 - Taiwan -2013
Tainan

Chikan House in Tainan Chiqian Street & 4th Avenue, the most famous monuments in Tainan and spiritual symbol of Chinese Ming Yongli seven years (AD 1653), the Dutch in this building "cover the general China City", Han then with "Chi Qianlou", "barbarians floor" or "orang F" to call it, to Yi Wei Yongli nine years (AD 1655) substantially completed, this is the initial Chiqian Lou. At that time the tower, the mountains and the sea, and a few miles outside of Fort Zeelandia relatively remote hope each other horns, console River inland sea.

Chi Qianlou 300 years, after the Ming Zheng, Qing Dynasty, as well as the changes during the Japanese occupation, living is a microcosm of the history of Taiwan, but also the 17th century historical changes in Tainan best witness.
