Brough of Birsay, Birsay, Orkney

The Brough of Birsay is a small island not far from the Mainland of Orkney. There is a walkway which is uncovered at low tide and allows people to reach the island to visit the Viking ruins or to look at the wildlife which includes nesting Puffins at the appropriate time of year.
