Jhongyun Fish Port
Taiwan
The Jhongyun Fishing Port, built about six decades ago as a plan to develop deep-sea fisheries, is capable of accommodating 350 numbers of 20-ton fishing boats. It witnesses the unique lifestyle of the olden days that has not changed much. The rich varieties of catches and trades in the market makes it one of the most important ports in the region and attracts buyers from around the island. Sellers chat, while brewing teas, and are readily shared with each other and even the buyers. Visitors are invited to join them, talking and drinking tea under the beautiful blue sky.
