Knysna Elephant Park Reception Hall
South Africa

The Knysna Elephant Park was founded out of the struggle of the Knysna Elephants who were hunted to near extinction, and today the Park offers visitors a unique experience. Visitors to the Park can touch the Elephants in a safe environment, and even go on a sunset or sunrise walk with the Elephants.

The Elephants found here at the Park are not of the original Knysna Elephants, but African Elephants sourced elsewhere.

Evidence suggests that there is at least 1 Knysna Elephant roaming wild in the dense forests of Knysna, but very little is known about it.
