Round House - Portmeirion
Wales

Early morning at the 'Round House' at Portmerion in North Wales, looking towards Battery Square (through the arch).

Designed by Sir Clough Williams-Ellis, Portmeirion found international fame as the location for the 1960s TV series 'The Prisoner' and receives thousands of visitors a year.

This particular location was used as the exterior of Number Six's house,  played by the late Patrick McGoohan. It is now used as a shop selling 'Prisoner' souvenirs.
