Woodruff House in Macon, GA
Georgia, USA

The Woodruff House in Macon was built in 1836 in the Greek Revival style. Many famous people have lived in or attended events at the Woodruff House. Winnie Davis, daughter of Jefferson Davis, attended a ball in her honor at the Woodruff House, and one of the South’s wealthiest cotton planters, Jefferson Davis, owned the house at one time. The Woodruff House is now owned and operated by Mercer University.
